Kiran Bedi's Mission Safer India

Are you scared of going to a police station?Now onwards you will no more have to goto a police station to record your complaint. Yes it's true. The first woman IPS officer of India has taken the initiative of safeguard the Indians against crimes in a really innovative way. The India Vision Foundation (www.indiavisionfoundation.org) founded by Kiran Bedi has launched it's latest venture Mission Safer India (www.saferindia.com) to save " the next victim ". This site enables us to register our complaint in it (Just as one does at the police station) as the webmaster would forward it to the nearest Police headquarters. The whole procedure will be initiated by the webmaster while the legalities shall done on the complainant name.
Well, this does seem to be a nice initiative though the site (www.saferindia.com) seems to lack clarity, both in terms of visibility and its role, though it's a very personal comment. Regarding how effective will it be in saving the next victim is something which only time can give the answer. But, one thing is for sure that the Brand name of Kiran Bedi would gather some weight if we try to place a police complaint via her site.
