Daily we hear the news of the Nuclear deal with India and the U.S, and the controversy the Left is trying to create. After all why is there such a drama? Is nuclear deal that important and crucial? Or is it just another opportunity for some of the left leaders to gain political mileage opposing the Govt because a capitalist country the like U.S is involved?Let me take a guess.... I think it's all a well planned movement to meet the forthcoming elections. The center would soon approve the deal just a few days before the elections commence and the left would withdraw their support at that time. Wondering why would the congress and the left do that? The answer is quite simple. Think of the states where the Left is strong i.e Kerala and West Bengal. Here the Opposition is the congress and not the NDA. So the people would vote to the congress or the Left. If the congress and the left tries to stand united, then people may perhaps think the congress and left together as an entity and probably NDA as the opposition. A fare share of the votes may go to the NDA as often people are not satisfied with the ruling party while the elections go on. The Idea is to create a situation where the ruling party and the main opposition is infact the UPA and its allies themselves, so that once the elections are over they could once again get united and form the govt as they did the last time. "Creativity in politics" isn't it? I hope that the NDA is aware of such a possible strategy.

Yeah and arent we d real fools??...but i guess the upa has done a gud job.....and if our PM can come out with d deal it would b a feather in his cap....n as we all know the 'left' live 40 years back and der ideologies r often outdated
very true...i have no idea why people still elect the left guys despite there outdated agendas!!!!
But there is another aspect of the left that's good, and its about there initiatives to bring uniform distribution of wealth...
Kerala may not have multi-billionaires but then are lesser no. of slum people in kerala... isn't that worth to kerala...
